With the aid of his attorneys, Brown filed the lawsuit in the Los Angeles County Superior Court, due to alleged defamation and causing emotional distress. Moreover, new court documents obtained by several media outlets indicate that even with “proof” of his actions, Brown denied the accusations and deemed them false.

The lawsuit also claims that the alleged sexual assault allegations made in the docuseries have already been discredited by the court.

Brown added in the lawsuit that the producers behind the docuseries, along with Jane Doe ruined his reputation, further including that he has been trying to repair it for over a decade. He claims to have owned to previous mistakes including the time he assaulted his ex-girlfriend and fellow celebrity Rihanna.

The singer also claimed that if he wins the case, he will donate part of the $500 million to sexual abuse victims.
