The World’s Finest Assassin gets a second season!
Popular anime streaming platform, Crunchyroll has announced on their Instagram that The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat is getting renewed for a second season, that title is definitely a mouthful!
The World’s Finest Assassin is an isekai anime based on the light novels by Rui Tsukiyo and Reia.
It tells the story of the world’s greatest assassin, Tuatha Dé, Lugh, and his journey to getting reincarnated into another world of magic and swords by a goddess after his organization silenced him leading to his demise.
The World’s Finest Assassin: gets a second season!
The first season aired on Oct 6. 2021 to Dec 22. 2021 and was animated by SILVER LINK., who are a respectable animation studio in Japan with works including Kokoro Connect, The Misfit of Demon King Academy and Tanaka-kun is Always Listless.
According to Crunchyroll, the anime was directed by Masafumi Tamura (The Misfit of Demon King Academy II) with series composition by Katsuhiko Takayama and character designs by Eri Osada.
We currently don’t have an official release date for the isekai anime but the official X (formerly known as Twitter) account confirmed that it’s in the works and said:
“The world’s best assassin is reincarnated as an aristocrat in another world”
2nd-period production decided.
“The legendary assassin” runs to even greater heights!
