Delay causes passenger to open plane door and walk on wing

In a shocking incident at Mexico City airport, a man was arrested after opening the emergency door of a delayed flight and walking on the wing. The flight, bound for Guatemala City, had been stuck on the runway for approximately four hours without ventilation or water. Reportedly, the passenger stood on the wing before reentering the cabin without causing harm or affecting the plane.

Surprisingly, the other passengers onboard supported the man’s actions. In a signed statement distributed on social media, they accused Aeromexico, the airline in operation, of a 4-hour delay without providing necessary amenities during that time.

The statement also declared that the passenger had opened the emergency door to protect everyone from the danger posed by the delay and lack of ventilation. Some even claimed he had “saved our lives.”

An incident report submitted to airport authorities confirms the passengers’ dissatisfaction, attributing turbulence on Flight AM672 to their discontent. The flight was scheduled for an 8:45 am departure but was forced to return to the gate due to a maintenance alert.

This incident happens to be similar to an event that occurred on a South Korean plane a few months ago. On an Asiana Airlines flight, a passenger opened the door while the plane was still in the air, causing much panic among passengers. The individual, who later explained that they wanted to disembark quickly, was arrested upon landing.

Airlines must make sure to address passenger concerns to avoid such incidents in the future and ensure the safety and satisfaction of their customers. Things don’t always go as planned, so it’s important to have a backup plan or strategy in place.
