Boycott Kylie Jenner trends after Israel support post
A campaign was launched online where pro-Palestinian activists called to boycott famous American socialite, media personality, and businesswoman Kylie Jenner.
The campaign started when Jenner posted a photo announcing support for Israel on her Instagram account, which has over 400 million followers.
However, the U.S. star rapidly deleted her post for unknown reasons and some said that she might have received major backlash and a wave of Instagram account unfollow.
Advocates also raised their voices calling pro-Palestinians to not only unfollow Jenner on social media but to also organize a campaign to stop purchasing Kylie Cosmetics products, a company that is owned by Kylie Jenner.
On her Instagram story, Kylie Jenner reposted a photo shared by the Instagram account @standwithus showing an Israeli flag with a sentence reading “Stand with us” and “Now and always, we stand with the people of Israel!”.
A person wrote: “Never Forgive. Never Forget. Muslims all around the world must boycott @KylieJenner in every possible way.”
Another person added: “@KylieJennerneeds to be boycotted in the Middle East period. Where was this energy when Palestine was bombed.”
