‘Looksmaxxing’ influencer Clavicular charged with rape, drugging woman

Controversial “looksmaxxing” influencer and streamer Clavicular, whose legal name is Braden Peters, was recently charged with rape and drugging a woman for sex, while also providing alcohol to a minor in Massachusetts, according to The Bulwark. 

The right-wing influencer is best known for being part of the “looksmaxxing” community, an internet subculture aimed at maximizing an individual’s physical attractiveness as a form of self-improvement.

The charges were filed at a courthouse on Sept. 8, citing an incident that occurred on May 23, 2025. The alleged victim, 18-year-old content creator Aleksandra Vasilevna Mendoza (also known as Alorah Ziva), accused Clavicular of injecting her with Aqualyx without her consent during a livestream in 2025, as previously reported by CBS News.

Aqualyx is a fat-dissolving substance not approved by the FDA. Mendoza, who was a minor at the time, also accused the influencer of having nonconsensual sex with her while she was intoxicated at his parents’ home in Cape Cod.

Since then, Clavicualr took to X with several posts featuring a letter Mendoza reportedly wrote:

“Trying to get my attention in anyway possible, a lawsuit? Seriously… really petty of you.”

The letter claims that Mendoza sent Peters a letter thanking him for “helping me as much as you have been.”

Alongside the letter, Peters also shared a video of Mendoza claiming that the Aqualyx injection during the small stream was “fun” and that he was “super nice” and sent her home with an Uber. However, it’s not clear when the video was posted.

He wrote in another post, “Lmao was literally trying to work at Bacara as a bottle girl… how about dont finance cars you cant afford. Happens to all successful young men, people try to come for your money. Greed is evil.”

Mitchell Jackson, a representative for Clavicular, said that The Bulwark’s report was “exaggerating” the incident and that the influencer has not been officially served with an arrest warrant.

He wrote a text message on Monday:

“Braden Peters has not been physically served. As usual the Bulwark is exaggerating.”
