Spy x Family season 2 unveils final trailer and opening song
The official website for Spy x Family revealed the second season’s opening and ending with the addition of a final trailer on YouTube by Toho Animation showcasing the exciting return of the Forger family!
The opening is called “Kurakura” and will be performed by Ado who is also well known for their controversial Japanese song “Usseewa” meaning ‘shut up’ in Japanese.
Season two’s ending song will be performed by Vaundy feat. Cory Wong and it’s called “Todome no Ichigeki” (Finishing Strike).
Ado’s Karakura will be released on Oct.5, 2023, while Vaudny’s Finishing Stike will launch three days later on Oct. 8, 2023.
Spy x Family season 2’s release date and final trailer
Spy x Family season two will premiere on Oct. 7, 2023, with Kazuhiro Furuhashi returning as director, Ichiro Okouchi (Code Geass) replacing Furuhashi as the new scriptwriter and supervisor, Kazuaki Shimada as character designer and [K]NoW_NAME on music production.
The show will be animated in collaboration with Wit Studio (Attack on Titan) and Cloverworks (Horimiya) as in the previous season.
Spy x Family tells the story of a master spy called Twilight who disguises himself as a psychiatrist called Loid Forger to fulfill his mission of investigating the corrupt politician Donovan Desmond.
To disguise himself fully, he is ordered by his organization to adopt a fake family of a child and wife. Not knowing much, he ends up adopting a psychic child called Anya and an assassin called Yor as his wife.
It’s one of our favorite slice-of-life anime because of its characters, stunning animation, and interesting story, so we recommend giving season one a try!
