American rapper Kendrick Lamar went viral across social media after copping eight awards during the 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards making him the most-awarded artist this year!
His Drake diss track ‘Not Like Us’ received Song of the Year and Best Hip Hop Video while ‘Like That’ by Future where he was featured in with fellow rapper Metro Boomin received Best Collaboration.
Moreover, Kendrick Lamar also garnered other awards including, Hip Hop Artist of the Year, Lyricist of the Year, Best Featured Verse, Video Director of the Year with Dave Free, and Impact Track.

Kendrick outshined Megan Thee Stallion who was nominated 12 times but unfortunately left empty-handed. On the other hand, fellow female rapper Nicki Minaj copped Hip-Hop Album of the Year for her Pink Friday 2 album while Sexyy Red received Best Breakthrough Hip-Hop Artist.
