Drake and Camila Cabello spark romance rumors after jet-skiing in Turks and Caicos
Are Drake and Camila Cabello the hottest new couple in the music industry? That’s what fans are wondering after the two stars were seen getting cozy at a Caribbean resort.
According to Pop Crave, Drake and Camila were spotted jet-skiing together and having an intimate conversation at Noah’s Ark Beach Club, a popular hotspot in Turks and Caicos Islands. The video, which was posted on Twitter, shows the 37-year-old rapper and the 26-year-old singer wearing matching black outfits and helmets as they ride the waves.
Drake, whose real name is Aubrey Graham, is a frequent visitor of the floating bar and grill, which even displayed a billboard of his latest album For All the Dogs above their sign in October. The beach club, which features a spacious dance floor and local DJs, is located near Bird Cay and Half Moon Bay lagoon in the Princess Alexandra National Park.
The five-time Grammy winner was also seen enjoying a golf game with his friends Kai and Valentine Lawrence at the Royal Turks & Caicos Golf Club on Wednesday. He shared some photos of his outing on Instagram, where he has 267.4 million followers, and wrote: “I’m trash at this sport but the drinks are hitting.”
Camila, whose full name is Karla Estrabao, reportedly caught Drake’s attention after she posted some lyrics from his 2023 song Search & Rescue on her Instagram story on April 6. She jokingly credited the words to “Shakespeare” and added a mirror selfie of herself. The lyrics read: “Take me out the club / take me out the trap / take me off the market / take me off the map / I’m trying to hit the group chat and tell them it’s a wrap.”
The Cuban-born, Miami-raised singer recently split from her longtime boyfriend Shawn Mendes, another Canadian artist, in June after more than two years of dating. A source told The Sun that the former couple tried to rekindle their romance but realized it was a mistake. “They just want to move on,” the source said.
Drake, who has a five-year-old son named Adonis with French painter Sophie Brussaux, has been linked to several famous women in the past, including Bella Hadid, Jennifer Lopez, Hailey Bieber, Rita Ora, Tyra Banks, and Rihanna.
The OVO Sound co-founder and J. Cole are set to embark on their joint 22-date It’s All a Blur Tour – Big As the What? on January 18 at Ball Arena in Denver, CO. Drake is also nominated for four awards, including best rap performance, at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards.
Camila, who started her career as a member of Fifth Harmony on the second season of Fox’s The X Factor in 2012, is currently voicing Poppy’s long-lost sister Viva in the animated movie Trolls Band Together, which has grossed $176.6 million worldwide since its release on November 17.
Neither Drake nor Camila have confirmed or denied their relationship status, but fans are already shipping them as “Dramila” and hoping for a musical collaboration.
