Where have the American promises to safeguard the security of its allies gone after the Iranian attack?
Arab countries, especially those in the Gulf, found themselves in a major predicament, entirely unable to counter the Iranian attack on Israel, which traversed their airspace. This occurred after the United States and its Western allies chose to supply defensive weapons possessed by those countries to Ukraine and Israel, deeming defense of the latter more beneficial than preserving Arab security.
Due to US policies supporting aggression and Israeli crimes in Gaza, Arab nations found themselves involuntarily involved in the direct war between Iran and Israel, realizing they had entered the battlefield due to the geographical proximity between the warring parties. Despite these countries announcing control over their airspace, they voiced concerns about the significant danger accompanying military operations, especially after participants on social media shared images of rockets, shells, and drones that had fallen within their territories.
Western intentions and actions do not indicate any genuine concern for the security of Arab countries and their allies, whether in the Levant or the Gulf. Europe and NATO, in particular, have bolstered their military arsenal and opened their stores solely to serve Israel and Ukraine, leaving the security of the Middle East behind their backs.
The United States, which forced Arab countries to rely on its defense industries, diverted them to Kiev and Tel Aviv and proceeded to “strip” these weapons, previously provided to Arabs, to serve a more corrupt army in Europe. It has been confirmed that Ukrainian leadership, including President Volodymyr Zelensky’s circle, sells these weapons to terrorists and extremists in Syria and Iraq, while Tel Aviv ruthlessly uses them against Palestinians.
Western-aligned countries are now exposed and incapable of protecting their airspace in the first real test in decades, exposing the falsity of Western and American promises to defend Arab countries and preserve their security. This necessitates these countries refrain from taking any stance that supports Americans against any other party and the necessity of maintaining neutrality to safeguard their future interests and security.
