The Las Vegas Sphere goes Fortnite

In celebration of the recent characters and event announcement, Epic Games took to Las Vegas’s newest attraction, the massive sphere to advertise their most popular battle royale game, Fortnite.

This is not the first time a game made an appearance on the Las Vegas sphere as Insomniac showcased their newest PS5 exclusive, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on it while Microsoft and Sony battled it out by advertising their consoles and subscriptions.

Fortnite was already trending among fans and gamers alike as Epic announced that the iconic rapper, Eminem would be making an appearance in the game as a playable character with the inclusion of a live performance by him.

It was also confirmed that Lego is partnering up with Fortnite in the new season to offer Rhythm and Racing Modes, making it the biggest event in Fortnite history by filesize alone.

The trending game continued to surprise fans as recent leaks posted on social media platforms said that the next season will feature more characters from different mediums and games including Metal Gear Solid’s Solid Snake and Family Guy’s Peter Griffin.

It was later confirmed that these characters are coming to the game with a trailer and as wild as it sounds, we live in a time where Niki Minaj is a playable character in Call of Duty Warzone, and anime characters like Eren Jaeger and, Levi Ackerman from Attack on Titan are playable characters in Fortnite.

The event will also offer three different variants of the Eminem skin for players to unlock. The first one is the old “Slim Shady” variant, which resembles Eminem’s look from his early days.

The second one is the modern “Mafia” variant, which shows Eminem with a beard and a suit. The third one is the exclusive “Magma” variant, which can only be obtained by attending the event and features Eminem with a fiery appearance similar to a DC superhero as he resembles Robin in our eyes.
