Taylor Swift’s ‘Anti-Hero’ nominated for 2023 Song of the Year GRAMMY

Taylor Swift’s latest hit, “Anti-Hero,” has just been nominated for “Song of the Year” at the upcoming 2024 GRAMMYs.

This nomination marks a significant achievement for Swift, as it propels her into the record books, making her the most-nominated songwriter in the history of the Song of the Year category.

Swift’s remarkable journey in the Song of the Year category began with her nomination for “You Belong With Me” in 2010. Since then, she has amassed an impressive seven nominations, breaking the tie she previously held with legends Paul McCartney and Lionel Richie. Both McCartney and Richie had six nominations each before Swift’s latest nod.

While Swift may hold the title for the most nominations, she has yet to secure a win in the Song of the Year category. However, with “Anti-Hero” in contention for the 2024 GRAMMYs, there is a strong indication that this might be Swift’s year to take home the coveted honor. The Recording Academy has identified “Anti-Hero” as a potential winner, adding to the anticipation surrounding the upcoming ceremony.

Swift’s previous nominations include hits like “Shake It Off,” “Blank Space,” “Lover,” “Cardigan,” and “All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (The Short Film).” Despite the past nominations, Swift has faced tough competition and narrowly missed out on the award. This year, she faces contenders such as Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers,” SZA’s “Kill Bill,” Olivia Rodrigo’s “Vampire,” Dua Lipa’s “Dance the Night,” and Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?” Additionally, less commercially successful tracks like Jon Batiste’s “Butterfly” and Lana Del Rey’s “A&W” are also in the running.
