Taylor Swift ends her 100-day Instagram silence to praise Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s new album

Taylor Swift breaks her Instagram silence to hype Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s new album.
Taylor Swift made her comeback to Instagram on Saturday, after not posting on the platform for a hundred days. She did so to express her admiration for Selena Gomez’s “I Said I Love You First,” which is the new musical collaboration between the “Only Murders in the Building” singer and her betrothed Benny Blanco.
Swift posted a link to the album on Instagram Stories, along with the following message: “[Selena Gomez] and [Benny Blanco], I LOVE THIS ALBUM SO MUCH, OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDD.”
Since the release of her album “Rare” in 2020, Gomez has not released a big musical release until this 14-song CD. They are expressing their frustration with other artists who are not showing support although Gomez has backed them in the past. While her fans are definitely delighted that the current queen of pop posted the project on social media, they are also expressing their frustration with other musicians who are not providing support.
A prominent Gomez fan account tweeted on X prior to Swift’s laudatory endorsement, “No celebrity is supporting Selena Gomez’s new album except Becky G., not even Taylor Swift.” Swift’s endorsement preceded the release of this statement. Since then, the website has removed it.
Additionally, fans are dissatisfied with Gomez’s record label, Interscope Records, claiming that the firm has not promoted the project in an appropriate manner since it was released on March 21.
One of Interscope Records’ fans stated on X that the record label must thoroughly enjoy the fact that they are losing money by not marketing one of their most popular singers.
Spotify published a teaser for the album in the form of a one-on-one interview between Blanco and Gomez, which was posted prior to the album’s release. During the thirty-three-minute talk, listeners were given an inside look at the process of creating “I Said I Love You First.”
In the morning, we would get up and talk with each other. Our discourse, on the other hand, never went in the direction of asking, “What are we going to write for the album?” remarked Gomez.
An additional statement made by Blanco was, “I was constantly just writing whatever you said wherever we were.” “I would always open my phone and be like, ‘Fuck, that’s such a good line for a song.'” “Sometimes, you would be saying something critical, and I didn’t know if you even realized it, but I would always say that.”
