Tamer Hosny cancels Alexandria concert for safety amidst fainting cases
Tamer Hosny decided to cancel his performance in order to ensure the safety of the spectators.
The overwhelming crowding, the absence of organization and security measures, and the attendance of over thirty thousand people led to this decision.
Members of the social media community shared video footage from the performance that showed a number of concertgoers passing out as a result of the rush that occurred between them.
With Tamer’s assistance, the event organizers attempted to maintain control of the situation, hoping to restart the performance; however, the situation quickly spiraled out of control.
The videos shared on Facebook and X also showed a number of young guys appearing on stage and attempting to assist members of the crowd who had lost consciousness.
In an effort to comfort his audience and admirers, Tamer made the following statement: “Guys, I meant I had surprises and things prepared for you, and I am sorry, I swear, the security here says that the longer we stay, the more people will suffocate and get hurt.” From one year to the next, we eagerly anticipate attending this performance in Alexandria.
Tamer is now working on his new film, “Restart,” which brings him together with a number of Egyptian film stars such as Basem Samra, Hana El Zahed, Essam El Saka, and Mohamed Tharwat. This event takes place while Tamer continues to shoot his new film.
Ayman Bahjat Qamar wrote the film’s screenplay, and Sara Wafik handled the directing. We anticipate the film’s release in the near future.
Recently, Tamer Hosny has released several single songs. The most recent, “Gamdeen Gamdeen,” has garnered significant popularity and high viewing rates on “YouTube,” surpassing the 4 million viewership barrier since its release three months ago. It is important to note that Tamer Hosny has recently attained this level of success.
