“She’s 26 not 16” Vogue slammed after Alba Baptista age mistake
Fashion magazine Vogue is under fire for mistaking the age of Portuguese actress Alba Baptista after her appearance with Chris Evans at the 2024 Oscars.
Users took to X (formerly Twitter) to voice their opinions on the matter as the social media manager referred to Alba as a 16-year-old instead of her actual age which is 26 years old. This made the term “She’s 26” trend on the platform with more than 2,000 posts about it.

One user stated the following:
“She’s 26. Mistakes like this could really mess up someone’s life and career, Evans is one thing but 16!? Do better social media managers,”
Referring to how claims like this could cause trouble for Chris Evans as having a relationship with a 16-year-old when you’re 42 is illegal and will result in legal action against the individual and potentially ruin their life.

“They fixed it I think but it is so disrespectful to not put her name wtf.”
The TikTok reel in question was taken at the 2024 Oscars and was captioned “The newlyweds are here! Captain America with his 16-year-old wife, appeared sweetly after the Oscar party” which the social media account fixed later to the two being 16 years apart.
According to Harper’s Bazaar, The two beloved stars announced their marriage in September 2023 which surprised everybody Chris mentioned before that he wanted to start a family with the right person in November 2022.
