Palestinian youth still alive after spending 8 days under rubble
The residents of Khan Yunis, located in the southern Gaza Strip, successfully rescued a Palestinian youth who had endured eight harrowing days trapped under the debris of a house targeted by Israeli occupation forces.
The intense bombing had reduced the structure to rubble, leaving the young man stranded beneath the wreckage.
Following the successful rescue, the Palestinian youth was promptly transported to the hospital for medical attention. The ordeal had taken a toll on his physical condition, evident in the signs of emaciation and weakness that marked his body.
Since October 7, Israel has heavily pounded the enclave resulting in the killing of 25,700 Palestinians and injuring 63,740. Nearly 1,200 Israelis are believed to have been killed in the Hamas attack.
