Multiple concerts in Lebanon postponed, Tamer Hosny responds
An announcement was made by GMH & TMG company confirming to postponement of several concerts in Lebanon amid fears of war between Israel and Hezbollah.
GMH entertainment company posted on Instagram a statement confirming to postponement of three scheduled concerts in Lebanon due to the rising tension in the region.
The statement reads: “Due to the extraordinary circumstances, Lebanon is going through and especially the threat by the Israeli occupation which affected the flights in Beirut International Aiport and amid our concern on the safety of the attendance, we have decided to postpone these concerts.”
The Instagram post reads that the three concerts that were postponed are: Tamer Hosny’s concert on August 3, Syrian singer Assala’s event on August 10, and the concert of Lebanese star Assi El Hallani, Haifa Wahbi as well as Iraqi singer and composer Saif Nabeel which was scheduled on August 8.
Furthermore, the company apologized to those who already booked tickets for the concerts and added that the new schedule will be announced by TMG &GMH and whoever wants to regain ticket prices’ can go to the Ticketing Box Office website to request a refund.
Tamer Hosny responds to the cancellation of his Lebanon concert
Egyptian artist Tamer Hosny’s concert was postponed due to the situation in Lebanon and the tension with Israel and the cancellation of some flights to Lebanon.
Tamer Hosny took to his Instagram account and said: “May God protect Lebanon and the people of Lebanon.. May with God’s will this period pass and peace remain, and I’m waiting for the new date to be determined to see my loved ones in Lebanon. Lebanon can do it.”
