Meghan Markle unveils teaser for Netflix series With Love, Meghan ahead of January debut
Meghan Markle teased fans with the first teaser for her upcoming Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, only one day after she returned to Instagram.
Alongside Mindy Kaling, Roy Choi, Alice Waters, and Prince Harry, the Duchess of Sussex showcases her housekeeping prowess in the teaser.
On Thursday, January 2, Meghan Markle posted a teaser to Instagram with the remark, “I was so pleased to share this with you! As much as I enjoyed creating the presentation, I hope you enjoy it too. I hope everyone has an amazing New Year! We are grateful to our incredible cast and team at Netflix. I’m so appreciative of the fun and support! Meghan, as always.
Additionally, we spot Meghan cooking, tending to a beehive, and arranging flowers in a store while hosting a gathering of friends and guests, including her husband Prince Harry. In the clip, she states, “I’ve always loved taking something very ordinary and elevating it, surprising people with moments that make them realize I was really thinking about them.”
Meghan Markle states in other parts of the video, “We aim for joy, not perfection. “Love is in the details.”
The eight-episode series, which lasts 33 minutes each, features some of Meghan’s closest friends, including her makeup artist Daniel Martin and photographer Delfina Blauwer, who is married to polo legend Nacho Figueras, a close buddy of Prince Harry.
The series features Mindy Kaling, Tracy Robbins (wife of Paramount CEO Brian Robbins), Jennifer Rudolph Walsh, a seasoned literary agent and co-founder of Godmothers Bookstore, Vicky Tsai, a former Suits star, Abigail Spencer, and Kelly McKee Zagvin, a co-founder of Alliance of Moms.
Celebrity chefs and restaurateurs Roy Choi, Ramon Velasquez, and Alice Waters enhance the series with their culinary creativity, sharing their knowledge and love of food.
Michael Stead and Leah Harriton directed the film With Love, Meghan, a collaboration between Meghan and Prince Harry’s Archewell Productions and Intellectual Property Corporation, a branch of Sony Pictures Television.
Netflix called the show “an inspiring series, created by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, that reimagines the lifestyle genre, blending practical advice with candid conversations with friends new and old,” according to a statement provided to PEOPLE.
The statement went on to say, “Meghan Markle offers personal guidance, emphasizes how simple it is to create beauty, and she and her guests get their hands dirty in the kitchen, garden, and other areas, encouraging you to follow suit.”
As the Duchess of Sussex’s first solo presenting endeavor on Netflix, the series will debut on the streaming service on January 15, 2025, providing a close-up and personal glimpse into her distinct world.
