Mai Ezz Eldin returns to screens in new Ramadan 2025 series

Renowned Egyptian actress Mai Ezz Eldin is set to return to television screens in Ramadan 2025 with her new series “Qalbi wa Muftaho,” as fans took to social media in anticipation and excitement.

With Tamer Mohsen as director, and alongside Mai Ezz Eldin, “Qalbi wa Muftaho” is also starring Asser Yassin, Ashraf Abdel Baky, Ahmed Khaled Saleh, Mais Hamdan, Samaa Ibrahem, Sara Abdulrahman, and Diab.

Egyptian drama fans shared their excitement after “ON” television channel showcased a new promo for the series across several social media platforms. The promo also included a song by legendary Syrian-Egyptian legend, Farid al-Atrash.

Additionally, the short clip also included Mai Ezz Eldin proposing Asser Yassin who is her husband in the upcoming Ramadan series.

“Qalbi wa Muftaho” will run for a total of 15 episodes and will follow the story of “Mayar” played by Ezz Eldin who is a woman in her thirties. Her journey begins when she wakes up in the middle of the night to the sound of a thief, only to be met by her divorced husband “Saad” played by Yassin who is determined to interact with her as if they didn’t get a divorce.

The series will air on several Egyptian channels including ON, CBC, and DMC. The series will also air on the streaming service Watch It.
