Jeremy Clarkson beats Idris Elba and Tom Holland to retain title of Britain’s Sexiest Man
Jeremy Clarkson reigns as Britain’s most gorgeous man for the second year in a row.
British journalist Jeremy Clarkson won the title of “Sexiest Man in the United Kingdom” for the second year in a row, defeating a strong field of competitors that included Prince William, Idris Elba, and Cillian Murphy.
The British daily “Daily Mail” reports that 64-year-old Clarkson received a score of 9 out of 10 in the yearly study. The survey’s website calls itself “the best online dating site.” “Daily Mail”
Two thousand female members vote every year to choose which guy they think is the sexiest in the UK.
Each individual must jot down fifty names, ranked from most handsome and appealing to least beautiful, and assign a numerical value from one to ten to each name according to their “attractiveness.”
Tom Holland, 27, star of the “Spider-Man” films, was the last man to make it onto the list of the “10 sexiest men in the United Kingdom” after Clarkson. He came in at number two, receiving 8 points out of a possible 10.
Prince William of Wales, who was at the bottom of last year’s survey, rounded out the top three. He is 41 years old.
Fourth place went to England national football team coach Gareth Southgate, who is 53 years old and renowned for his impeccable style both on and off the field.
After a brawl with colleagues Idris Elba (sixth) and Dermot O’Leary (seventh), 47-year-old “Oppenheimer” actor Cillian Murphy claimed fifth place, while 31-year-old basketball player Sam Thompson got eighth.
Russell Cole, also known as “Hardust Geezer,” 27, and Gary Lineker, a former football player, 62, ranked ninth and tenth, respectively.
