Jake Paul knocks out Mike Perry, challenges UFC champ Alex Pereira

American YouTuber Jake Paul is trending across social media while also making headlines after knocking out American mixed martial artist Mike Perry in a boxing match. 

Paul dropped Perry only a minute and a half into the first round and knocked him out in the sixth round resulting in victory. The event in question took place in Tampa, Florida’s Amalie Arena on Saturday, Jul 20, 2024, and witnessed quite an audience since the stadium was full.

After defeating Perry, Jake Paul might’ve stroked his ego slightly after taking to the microphone and challenging Brazillian UFC champion Alex Pereira. Moreover, only a minute after the challenge, Pereria FaceTimes Paul! A user on X (formerly known as Twitter) wrote, “Oh, he’s ready!”

“Someone is gonna get slept and it ain’t Alex Pereira! Chamaaaa!”

Users took to X and said that the fight in question “wasn’t fair” because of the weight difference between Jake Paul and Mike Perry. Moreover, someone replied with, “At least it’s not 40 years diff this time,” referring to Paul’s challenge to Mike Tyson.
