American rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs was transferred to the hospital after being subjected to a head injury in prison, local media reported Monday.
Rapper Diddy, who is serving his prison sentence in New Jersey, was taken to a hospital on Saturday, October 10, to receive medical treatment.
According to the Los Angeles Times, which reported the incident on Monday, the injury was non-life-threatening injury and Diddy was treated. However, the news agency didn’t reveal what caused the wound.
Combs was conscious and speaking before his hospitalization, according to the TMZ celebrity news website.

A representative for the American rapper told the Los Angeles Times, “We are aware of the reports concerning Sean Combs and are working to confirm the circumstances,” adding, “Sean’s health and well-being are our immediate concern, and we appreciate everyone who has reached out.”
It is worth noting that Diddy is serving a 50-month federal prison sentence after a jury convicted him in 2025 on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. In addition, the rapper was acquitted of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges.
