Harry Potter star Michael Gambon dies aged 82
English-Irish actor Michael Gambon, who starred in Harry Potter, died aged 82.
Gambon is well-known for playing Professor Albus Dumbledore in six of the eight Harry Potter movies.
The English-Irish actor also played in other movies such as Paddington, Toys, Viceroy’s House and Being Julia.

Sir Michael John Gambon was born on Oct. 19, 1940. He began his acting career with Laurence Olivier as one of the original members of the Royal National Theatre.
Gambon gained three Olivier Awards, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, and four BAFTA Awards. In 1999, he was knighted by belated Queen Elizabeth II for services to drama.
