Halit Özgür Sarı and Özge Yağız reunite for Go Türkiye mini-series

Halit Özgür Sarı and Özge Yağız are coming together again on screen, this time for a new mini-series designed to showcase the history and beauty of Çanakkale.
The two actors will lead Tell Me Troy, the latest project commissioned by the Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) as part of its series of promotional mini-series featuring well-known Turkish actors.
The project is particularly notable for bringing Sarı and Yağız back together after their previous partnership in the Turkish series Gözleri Karadeniz. The pair will once again play a couple at the center of a story, but their new characters have a very different history.
A New Story Set in Çanakkale

In Tell Me Troy, Halit Özgür Sarı will play Aras, while Özge Yağız will portray Bade.
The two characters are former lovers whose story unfolds against the backdrop of Çanakkale and its ancient lands. Their relationship will provide the dramatic thread connecting the personal story with the region’s historical and cultural heritage.
Rather than using Çanakkale simply as a filming location, the mini-series is designed to bring the province’s historical and touristic attractions into the story. Reports say the area’s cultural heritage and historic atmosphere will be an important part of the production.
The title Tell Me Troy also points toward Çanakkale’s connection with the ancient city of Troy, one of the region’s most internationally recognized historical sites.
Halit Özgür Sarı and Özge Yağız Are Partners Again

The reunion of the two young actors is one of the project’s main attractions.
Sarı and Yağız previously starred together in Gözleri Karadeniz, where they became one of the show’s central screen pairings. Their new project gives them another opportunity to work together, this time in a much shorter format centered on a specific location and story.
The new mini-series will also give viewers a chance to see them in characters who already share a complicated past. Aras and Bade are not meeting for the first time. They are former lovers whose paths cross again in Çanakkale.
Five Days of Filming
Production is expected to begin in the coming days, with filming planned to take place over five days.
The project will be directed by Uğur Yağcıoğlu and Emre Kavuk, who will share directing duties on the mini-series.
The short filming schedule reflects the project’s mini-series format. Turkish reports have not yet revealed a confirmed episode count or official release date.
Another Go Türkiye Production
Tell Me Troy is part of TGA’s growing use of scripted digital productions to promote destinations across Türkiye.
Instead of relying only on traditional tourism campaigns, these projects place recognizable Turkish actors inside stories connected to specific regions. The approach allows locations, historical landmarks and cultural elements to become part of the narrative.
This time, the spotlight moves to Çanakkale, with the ancient landscape providing the setting for Aras and Bade’s story.
For Sarı and Yağız, the project also marks another reunion shortly after their previous series together. With filming set to begin soon, more details about the story, supporting cast and release plans are expected to emerge as production gets underway.
For now, Tell Me Troy brings together a popular on-screen pairing, a five-day shoot and one of Türkiye’s most historically significant regions in a new promotional mini-series.
