Haifa Wehbe returns to singing in Egypt after the suspension was lifted

The Egyptian Musicians Syndicate chose to suspend Haifa Wehbe from her position and launch an inquiry after her dispute with Yasser El-Hariri, the event organizer.

The two sides met with the syndicate’s legal affairs department today to declare their reconciliation and return Haifa to her regular job in Egypt, according to a video statement.

Haifa expressed her gratitude to the Musicians Syndicate in the video, thanking them for their understanding, for uniting different perspectives, and for supporting her. I place my trust in the Musicians Syndicate because it is my syndicate. Because my rights and employment in Egypt were restored via the Musicians Syndicate, I am grateful for any confusion that may have occurred. She went on to praise both Yasser El-Hariri and the syndicate.

“Of course, Haifa is a great artist, and she is above our heads.” We always hold many concerts together,” Yasser El-Hariri stated of Haifa. Thankfully, the Musicians Syndicate and its head, Mustafa Kamel, cleared up any confusion that may have arisen during the event. With any luck, Haifa will be performing at many more concerts in Egypt in the future.

At the conclusion of his address, he thanked Mustafa Kamel and apologized to Haifa for any hurtful statements he may have made. He assured her they resolved their dispute and reaffirmed their relationship.

In a statement, the Musicians Syndicate confirmed that the feud between Haifa Wehbe and Yasser Al-Hariri had come to a close. The General Syndicate of Musicians extends its heartfelt gratitude to both parties for their respect and appreciation of the Syndicate’s decisions, their presence before the Syndicate’s legal affairs, and their promotion of tolerance and reconciliation between them. With this reconciliation, we have decided to revoke the Legal Affairs Department’s decision not to grant work permits to the artist Haifa Wehbe, granting her the necessary permits to work.
