Footballer dies from lightning strike during match

 In a tragic and heartbreaking event, a football player met his tragic end after being struck by lightning while playing football at Siliwangi Stadium in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. The 34-year-old from Subang collapsed during a friendly match between FLO FC Bandung and FBI Subang.

Video footage captured the exact moment the incident took place, with the victim at the time still breathing before being rushed to a local hospital.

Despite efforts to save him, the man unfortunately passed away shortly after. This shocking incident has deeply affected fans and players, with condolences pouring in on social media to the victim and his loved ones.

This is the second time within a year that an Indonesian footballer has been struck by lightning, showing the possible dangers in such situations.

In another case in Bojonegoro, East Java, a young football player faced a similar fate during the Soeratin U-13 Cup, suffering cardiac arrest from a lightning strike. Thanks to quick medical attention, the player was successfully revived after 20 minutes.

Sadly, lightning strikes have also claimed lives in other parts of the world, as seen with a 21-year-old Brazilian footballer who was fatally struck while on the field. Caio Henrique de Lima Goncalves tragically lost his life after being struck during a cup fixture in Parana, Brazil.
