Elissa rebuked over comment on Iranian attack on Israel

Lebanese singer Elissa has caused a storm on social media after her latest post on X (formerly Twitter) regarding the Iranian ballistic missile attack on Israel.
Iran launched about 220 missiles targeting Tel Aviv, Israel in a revenge attack over the killings of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh on July 31 and Hezbollah head Hassan Nasrallah on Sept. 27.
In detail, Elissa shared a post on her account, expressing her opinion on the Iranian missiles that were launched on Oct. 1 targeting Israel.
She wrote: “That’s it?! Is this the Iranian response?!” opening a huge discussion online as many commented and criticized her over her opinion.
A person commented: “We will wait to see the response of the Lebanese army.” Another said: “Why do you think the Iranian response is a song album?”
On the other hand, a person asked Elissa to focus on her songs and concerts and “quit politics”.
Before this post, Elissa said: “Our only hope is the Lebanese army and nothing but the army. May God protect Lebanon and its people.”
