American porn star Alexas Morgan arrested in Jordan for alleged violation of content laws
Security agents arrested American porn actress Alexas Morgan late at night while she was staying in Wadi Rum, which is south of the Kingdom.
After being accused of delivering sexual content during her travels to Jordan, Alexas Morgan was taken into custody in Wadi Rum, Jordan, in the middle of August, according to a publication in the United States.
Over the past few weeks, the actress, who is 27 years old, has not been active on social media. However, she has only recently posted a story to her massive following of 5.5 million people on Instagram.
Despite the fact that there was no commentary on the photograph, it depicted individuals carrying their bags as they descended an escalator in front of a banner that stated, “Welcome to the United States.”
After returning to the United States, Alexas disclosed to the newspaper that the investigation is still ongoing and that the authorities in Jordan continue to possess her cameras and phones.
Alexas stated that she paid a bond of three thousand Jordanian dinars, despite the equipment’s worth exceeding $15,000.
In an interview with the newspaper, the actress described the events that took place on the evening of her arrest, adding, “It was late at night… The property had already turned off the Wi-Fi service before five men, including one in a police uniform, opened the door of my hut in the middle of the desert at three in the morning.
Then she said, “I was completely unable to comprehend anything that they were saying.” Instantaneously, they confiscated all of my mobile phones and other technological equipment.
In addition, she stated, “I was uneasy and terrified of what might occur; I was afraid that my line of work would lead to difficulties and even incarceration.”
The American actress is under the impression that the proprietor of the hotel in which she was staying was able to learn her identity through social media without first contacting the authorities.
The production, dissemination, or consumption of “pornographic content” is punishable under Jordanian law with a minimum sentence of six months in prison and a fine from the government.
