A new battlefield between the West and Russia

The battlefield between Russia and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) has moved to international institutions, and the latter party is trying to compensate for its defeat on the international scene and the decline of its role by tightening the siege on Moscow within the scope of international institutions.

The new battlefield created by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky with the support, instigation and guidance of a British-American who was in the International Maritime Organization (IMO), where those countries are working to neutralize Russia and remove it from competition in the international scene in a move that reflects the attempt of Western countries to continue to establish it at the expense of the countries of the world.

What Zelensky, an ally of Israel and NATO, recently requested from the member states of the International Maritime Organization is to remove Russia from the International Maritime Council, at a time when the Soviet Union and then Russia are considered countries rooted in this organization and have been ranked in the A rank for several decades and are considered among the active and initiating countries among the countries, the forty countries that make up this international organization outperformed America, Britain, and China in the last elections.

Ukraine justified its request by saying that it came in the context of tightening the siege on Moscow, and it seems that the latter responded on the night of Friday, Saturday, November 24/25, with a series of military operations that inflicted crushing defeat on the Ukrainian forces, in addition to the defeat of the counterattack, in which Western countries tried several times to search for other arenas to clear the face in front of the Russian forces.

It is known that countries within the International Maritime Organization (IMO) are classified according to several factors, including their strength, international standing, and initiatives, and are classified into categories and grades A.B.C. Since the founding of the organization, Russia has been at the forefront of the best ranking A, specifically since the year 1958, that is, a few years after the founding of the organization. It has inherited that position in the Soviet Union with merit, and the position remained preserved in the Supreme Council of the organization.

For reference, the classification is done according to the following table

A – Category 10 leading maritime countries

B – This category includes 10 other important countries in terms of maritime trade

C – The third category includes 20 maritime countries interested in maritime transport and shipping

In addition to the capabilities, initiatives, and services the state provides to the organization scientifically and globally, the division also takes into account ensuring the geographical representation of all countries in the world, and their efforts and ability to contribute to the development of maritime shipping globally.

According to Western media reports, new elections will be held in December 2023 and the Council will remain for two years. According to sources, Western countries are conspiring and mobilizing to nominate the state of Liberia instead of Russia in the Council, which is a Western attempt by NATO countries led by an American to remove anyone who facilitates the passage of projects and orders that take into account their own interests on the rest of the countries after they have stabilized in imposing their influence and control over the majority of the Council’s members.

What the United States is doing by transferring Zelensky is nothing but an attempt to maintain its control and influence over the world, especially third world countries, especially those member states of the aforementioned organization classified as B and C.

The corruption, control and hegemony of Western countries over that organization reflects the policy of the West and the United States in particular, which works to impose a cordon on international organizations and institutions to force them to make decisions and implement projects that support the policy of the United States and NATO, and reflects the American endeavor to empty the goals for which these global organizations were formed, which are preservation  for everyone’s interests, taking into account their affairs and supporting them.

If the United States succeeds in its effort to remove Russia, it will be isolated from the rest of the other powerful countries in turn, and this will ultimately be to the international disadvantage and will harm the weak countries. The aforementioned organization will lack balance, and countries, including the Arab countries that are members and participate in the organization, will be affected by the results of the upcoming council elections, and that is after the major Western countries should monopolize decisions, as they will be marginalized and out of any consideration in the future.
