Rihanna’s inappropriate tweet about 16-year-old Justin Bieber resurfaces

An inappropriate comment made by Barbadian pop singer Rihanna in 2010 about Justin Bieber recently resurfaced by users on X (formerly known as Twitter) sparking debate across the platform about other celebrities who treated young Justin Bieber weirdly on and off camera.

Rihanna’s 2010 tweet said, “Justin Bieber just flashed me his abs in the middle of a restaurant! Wow! He actually had a lil 6 pack! Sexy, lol! #Beliebersplzdontkillme” when she was 22 and Bieber was a 16-year-old minor.

Moreover, this pushed social media users to post a video of the time Justin Bieber was kissed on the neck by American actress Jenny McCarthy at the 40th American Music Awards in 2012, to which he responded with “Wow…I feel really violated right now.”

X users took to posts discussing the issue at hand to express their opinions. Here’s what some had to say:

“Not Rihanna too…”

“Every day it’s something new” while quoting JuiceWorld who said, “Every day I wake up to some bulsh*t on my phone.”

Another shared a video of Katy Perry touching Justin Bieber’s buttocks while he was allegedly 15 years old adding to the weird treatment he received from celebrities across the board when he was a minor.

“The kid who was harassed actually by so many women.”

“This whole industry is messed up man…”

On the other hand, someone took to Rihanna’s defense saying that she rejected Justin Bieber three times in the past after the pop star mentioned it during a podcast. The users said, “I know you weirdos only care about engagement and canceling the next celeb  not for victims but Bieber asked her to tweet that.”

Despite people saying that the tweet was written as a joke between Bieber and Rihanna, many users on X stated that it left a “sour taste” in their mouths due to the Canadian star being 16 at the time.

One added, “All these celebrities have a lil Diddy in them” referring to Diddy’s recent arrest over human trafficking and sexual relations with minors.
