Nicki Minaj’s airport drama in Amsterdam: arrested and confronted plane captain over seized bags
Nicki Minaj should be ecstatic after the extension of her Pink Friday 2 World Tour. But there has been some turmoil at the mile-high club for the “Barbie World” artist.
Nicki reportedly faced a stop and search at the Amsterdam, Netherlands, airport. The performer released the last moments of a confrontation with the man posing as the captain of her rented plane in a video that she posted on her official Instagram page today (May 25). During their interaction, he informed Nicki that despite passing a soft check, the local police needed to check her bags again.
When asked about the incident’s escalation, the spokesperson replied, “Because you filmed him.”
Nicki provided further context in the post’s description. In her paper, she stated, “They’ve been trying to stop me from coming to every show.” They made off with my luggage before I even noticed. Board the aircraft with it. They claim they’re still waiting for customs clearance. After all else has been exhausted, this is the result of paying people to attempt to derail a tour. Their whole action is completely against the law.
A police officer was also present in her interactions in the relevant earlier footage.
Nicki was supposed to be at a sold-out concert in Manchester, England, this evening; therefore, the exact time of the incidents is unknown. On the other hand, May 23 was apparently the date of Nicki’s show in Amsterdam.
