When is funeral of Hali Rahbani, son of Fairouz?

Hali Rahbani, the youngest son of Lebanese singer Fairouz and the late composer Assi Rahbani, died on Thursday at the age of 68, local media in Lebanon reported.

Hali died after a long struggle with physical and intellectual disabilities that he had had since his birth in 1958.

According to Lebanese media, Hali Rahbani lived away from the camera, unlike his artistic family, under the care of his beloved mother, who dedicated her life to looking after him.

A photo of Hali with his mother and brother Ziad went viral after being shared in 2022 by Rima Rahbani. Hali was seen in a wheelchair from inside a church in Lebanon.

This death comes about 6 months after the death of his brother, the musician Ziad Rahbani, in July 2025, and is an additional blow to Fairouz, who made her first public appearance in years at her son Ziad’s funeral.

The great Lebanese composer and singer Ziad Rahbani died on Saturday morning, July 26, 2025, at the age of 69 due to cirrhosis of the liver. His funeral was held on Monday, July 28, 2025, at the Dormition of the Virgin Mary Church in the town of Al-Muhayditha – Bikfaya, Lebanon.

His funeral was attended by a large crowd of his fans and artistic and cultural figures, where his mother, the artist Fairouz, bid her final farewell to her son.
