Vanessa Hudgens marries baseball player Cole Tucker in Mexico

Vanessa Hudgens, the actress best known for her roles in High School Musical and The Princess Switch, has tied the knot with professional baseball player Cole Tucker in a romantic wedding ceremony in Tulum, Mexico, on Saturday, December 2, 2023.

The couple, who have been dating since November 2020, announced their engagement in February 2023.

Hudgens, 34, and Tucker, 27, met through a Zoom meditation group in 2020 and went public with their relationship on Valentine’s Day 2021, when Hudgens shared a photo of them kissing on Instagram with the caption, “It’s you, it’s me, it’s us. @cotuck”. Since then, the pair have been inseparable, supporting each other’s careers and traveling together.

Tucker, who plays for the Pittsburgh Pirates, gushed about Hudgens in an MLB spring training interview in February 2021, saying, “I got a girlfriend and she’s cool. She’s awesome, I love her”.

Hudgens also praised Tucker in an interview in April 2021, saying, “He’s just kind of perfect for me. I am [happy]. I really am”.

The bride and groom celebrated their love with their friends and family in a tropical destination, where they exchanged vows and rings in front of a stunning ocean view.

Hudgens wore a white lace gown with a custom veil that had “VH♥️CT” embroidered on it, while Tucker donned a black suit with a white shirt and tie. The newlyweds shared a sweet kiss after saying “I do” and danced the night away with their guests.

Hudgens also had a fun-filled bachelorette party in Aspen, Colorado, in October 2023, where she and her girlfriends wore matching sweatsuits and enjoyed the snow. Hudgens posted a video of the trip on Instagram, writing, “The most iconic bachelorette weekend”.

Hudgens was previously in a long-term relationship with actor Austin Butler, whom she dated from 2011 to 2020. They also met on the set of High School Musical and co-starred in several projects together. Hudgens and Butler split in January 2020, reportedly due to their busy schedules and long-distance challenges.
