Wedding gone wrong: Groom goes to prison

A young Turkish man’s wedding night took an unexpected turn after he hit a child with his car while leaving the wedding hall. The incident occurred on the outskirts of the coastal city of Izmir, in Turkey. 

A passer-by called for an ambulance for the injured 12-year-old Syrian refugee, who remains in critical condition in a nearby hospital. The groom was detained and is still in prison as investigations into the accident take place.
