US raises travel advisory for UAE after Iranian drone strike targets consulate in Dubai

A drone strike targeted and hit the vicinity of the US Consulate in Dubai on Tuesday night, a development followed by a State Department announcement ordering its non-emergency diplomatic staff to leave the country.
The Dubai Media Office said authorities put out a limited fire around the consulate, and no injuries were reported.
This comes after drone strikes targeted and struck the US Embassy in Riyadh. US diplomatic facilities, including consulates and embassies, have been targeted by Iran and Iran-backed militias since the outbreak of this latest war.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio said shortly after that all personnel were accounted for after the drone struck a parking lot adjacent to the consulate.
Shortly after, the United States raised its travel advisory for the UAE to Level 3, announcing that it had ordered all non-emergency government personnel and their families to leave the country.
