UAE’s G42 buys advanced Nvidia chips

The United States approved the sale of Nvidia’s advanced H100 chips to G42, a UAE technology group that invents visionary artificial intelligence for a better everyday life.

Nvidia H100 chips

Nvidia, the American multinational corporation and technology company, develops the H100 chips, a Tensor Core GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) that delivers exceptional performance, scalability, and security for every workload.

It is worth noting that Nvidia’s H100 chips are not easily acquired by companies or countries without the approval of the US government, as they are considered a national security matter.

The UAE obtained approval with the aim of becoming the global capital of artificial intelligence, as the country invested vastly in innovative projects.

The approval obtained by G42 has not been announced officially yet, while the company is in the early stages of deploying the chips, including a substantial order of Nvidia H100 models.
