Turkish version of ‘Al Hayba’ series renamed again, here’s what it is called

The Turkish version of the Syrian series ‘Al Hayba’ was renamed again for the third time triggering mixed reactions by fans on social media.

The “Al Hayba” series was a very successful series consisting of five seasons with Syrian actor Taim Hasan playing the main role of a drug dealer called “Jabal” in addition to other stars including Abdo Chahine (Shahine), Oweiss Mkhallalati (Sakher), Muna Wassef (Nahed), Rozina Lazkani (Mona) as well as Nadine Nassib Njeim (Alia).

The series was first released during Ramadan 2017 and continued for five seasons till the last part was released in 2021.

Amid the great echo the series made, Turki producers announced a Turkish version of “Al Hayba” series.

The series was renamed multiple times triggering the anger of many people and fans, first, the producers said the Turkish version of Al Hayba’ series would be called “Alboralarının Hikayesi”.

Then the series was renamed from “Alboralarının Hikayesi” to “Alboranın Sert Kışı Dizisinin” and is set to be displayed on Kanal D with actor Turkish actor Ozan Akbaba will play the role of “Jabal Sheikh Al-Jabal” in the Turkish version of the famous “Al Hayba” series.

On the other hand, recently the producers of the Turkish version announced that the work will be renamed again to “Uzak Şehir”.
