Turkish star Tekin Temel dies aged 56

Turkish actor Tekin Temel died at the age of 56, Turkish media reported on Wednesday. 

According to sources, Tekin Temel died due to a heart attack.

According to CNN Turkey, Temel was preparing to return to the screen with the daily series Bir Yemin Ettim on Channel 7.

The Film-San Foundation announced the actor’s passing. His death news caused great sadness in the art community in Turkey.

Who is Tekin Temel?

Tekin Temel, who was born on June 24, 1968, is one of the very famous names in the Turkish television, theater, and cinema world.

The actor graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Theater.

The Turkish actor has starred in many successful series including Love and Sin (2015), Waiting for the Sun (2013), Ezel (2009-2010), The Funeral (2023), as well as Jinns and Fairies (2001).
