Metin Arolat, born in Izmir on May 28, 1972, is Mevlana’s 23rd generation grandson. Arolat graduated from Dokuz Eylül University’s Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, in Izmir. After graduation, he relocated to Istanbul. Metin Arolat began his career working for an advertising firm before moving to America to study advertising.
Metin Arolat, who made his music debut in 1995 with the album Ayrılık Olmaz, pursued both directing and singing professions concurrently. Arolat, known for producing albums and singles including “Ayrılık Olmaz,” “Yine Bir Başıma,” “Kabul Et,” “Lütfen Yaz Gelsin,” “Çok Daha Ötesi,” and “Karavan,” has also directed commercials for many businesses.
