Trump to headline FII Priority Miami as global leaders gather

US President Donald Trump is set to headline the FII Priority conference in Miami this week, marking his second consecutive appearance at the event.
The summit, hosted by the Future Investment Initiative Institute, is expected to bring together senior government officials, CEOs, investors and business leaders from around the world to discuss global investment trends and cross-border opportunities.
Other prominent US figures scheduled to speak include Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff.
The conference will open Thursday with remarks from Yasir Al-Rumayyan, governor of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF).
Ahead of the main sessions, discussions on Wednesday focused on Latin America, highlighting the region’s growing importance in global capital flows. Speakers emphasized the need for stronger partnerships and regulatory reforms to attract foreign investment.
Delcy Rodriguez, speaking virtually, said updated legal frameworks would help draw international investors, adding that Venezuela had recently engaged with more than 120 energy companies, primarily from the United States.
Other participants stressed that long-term partnerships and local market understanding are key to unlocking the region’s potential. Managing Director-Americas at the Saudi Ministry of Investment Abdulrahman Bakir said the focus is no longer on whether to invest in Latin America, but how to do so effectively.
The two-day conference also features a wide range of high-profile speakers, including Mary Callahan Erdoes, Jack Hidary, Julius Maada Bio, John Pagano, Gerry Inzerillo, Nelson Griggs, Stephen Dainton and Michael Kratsios.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino is also scheduled to speak ahead of Trump’s address.
The summit, held under the theme “Capital in Motion,” focuses on shifting global investment patterns, with particular attention on the Americas and emerging markets.
