Taylor Swift cuts ties with Blake Lively over legal drama involving Justin Baldoni

Taylor Swift is ending her connection with Blake Lively after feeling used as an ‘intimidation technique’ in a lawsuit she never wanted.

The singer, 35, became involved in the dramatic legal battle between Lively, 37, and Justin Baldoni, 41, following Baldoni’s claim that Swift intimidated him during a meeting with her husband Ryan Reynolds regarding Swift’s rooftop scene cuts from It Ends with Us.

Baldoni claimed in his $400 million lawsuit filed earlier this month that Swift made him feel like he ‘ought to comply with Blake’s guidance for the script.’.

Lively later compared herself to Game of Thrones character Khaleesi in a series of text messages, calling Reynolds, 48, and her best friend her ‘dragons’ and threatening Baldoni.

Swift never meant to attend the meeting but arrived at Lively’s New York apartment to find it still continuing under the ‘uncool and unnecessary’ description.

Her pals felt Blake’s “I’m Khaleesi, and like her, I happen to have dragons” text to Justin was disrespectful and unneeded because she was meant to intimidate Justin. A pet or possession, she was called.

Taylor should not be involved. She just went to visit Blake and Ryan, knowing the encounter would end.

Game of Thrones, which aired from 2011 to 2019, features Khaleesi, also known as Daenerys Targaryen and Mother of Dragons.

After going wild and vengeful after trauma and loss, she became a villain.

A second source stated Taylor gracefully withdrew. She dislikes being mentioned since she’s self-conscious.

Swift has been friends with Lively for a decade, celebrating milestones together and even mentioning her children in her music. The choice will shock fans.

She supported Lively when rumors of animosity between the actress and Baldoni surfaced in August.

She and Reynolds visited Swift’s $17 million, eight-bedroom mansion in Rhode Island to escape the chaos.

Lively was criticized for her ‘tone deaf’ marketing, apparently ignoring interview questions concerning domestic violence, a prominent issue in the film, in favor of advising people to grab their ‘florals’ and go to the movies.

Others said she promoted Betty Booze with the spotlight.

Resurfacing interviews of the actress being ‘rude’ to reporters went viral on social media.

In October, Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce and Deadpool actor Reynolds took them on a double date in Manhattan.

This was two months before she filed a complaint with the California Civil Rights Department, accusing Baldoni of sexual harassment and fostering a toxic environment on It Ends with Us.

Meanwhile, the New York Times reported on her legal lawsuit accusing him of smearing her.

Swift, whose song My Tears Ricochet was on the soundtrack, was subsequently wrapped up in the drama when Baldoni filed a $400 million countersuit against Lively and Reynolds, accusing them of trying to ruin his name.

Baldoni, who is suing the Times for defamation, claimed Lively hijacked the recording to discredit her charges.

The actress stated in her filing that a meeting was conducted at her home in January 2024 to discuss ‘a toxic work environment that had nearly ruined production’ and that both parties ‘addressed in detail the inappropriate conduct’ by Baldoni.

Baldoni claimed in his suit that Reynolds ‘launched into exuberant applause for [Lively’s version]’ when he was summoned over with a Sony official to discuss her rooftop scene rework. Her mega-celebrity friend to pressure him’ joined them.

Baldoni did not name the celebrity friend, but he provided screenshots of a later chat with Lively in which he mentioned ‘Taylor.’

Baldoni says the actress joked that if he ‘got around to viewing Game of Thrones,’ he would ‘appreciate that’ she is Khaleesi.

She supposedly wrote, ‘And like her, I happen to have a few dragons. Regardless of the outcome, it is usually for the better. My dragons protect my allies from harm. We all profit from my beautiful monsters. I promise you will too.
