Royal baby: Jordan’s Princess Iman welcomes first child

Jordan’s Princess Iman and her husband Jameel Alexander Thermiotis welcomed their first child, a baby girl, Queen Rania announced on Sunday.

Queen Rania shared a post, along with photographs, on social media, announcing the arrival of baby Amina. The new parents could be seen surrounded by the queen, along with Jordan’s King Abdullah II.

The queen had announced the princess’ pregnancy in a social media post last month.

Princess Iman, the eldest daughter of King Abdullah II, had married Thermiotis at a royal wedding in 2023 in Amman.

Last August, Jordanian Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein welcomed their first child, Princess Iman, who also became the first grandchild of King Abdullah and Queen Rania.
