Reason behind Tony Sawaya’s sudden death revealed
Grief surrounded many Arab celebrities following the sudden death of Lebanese hairdresser Tony Sawaya on Tuesday.
Tony Sawaya is well-known for being a hairstylist for many Arab female stars including Emirati singer Ahlam Al-Shamsi, Syrian singer Asala, Najwa Karam, and Maya Diab.
The Lebanese hairdresser has a beauty salon called “Tony Sawaya Salon” in Lebanon’s capital Beirut. It is located in Beirut Verdun Dunes Center Ground Floor.
Reason behind Tony Sawaya’s sudden death revealed
Lebanese singer and composer Joe Raad revealed the cause of the death of Lebanese celebrity hairstylist Tony Sawaya, at a very early age.
He said in a video posted on his account: “May God have mercy on you and have mercy on your soil. Tony Sawaya will continue to live with me because I will not forget his standing with me when I first started my own salon.”
Joe Raad maintained: “He gave me a sum of money and told me to give it to me if you can. He stood with me like a man. Your death surprised me. May God have mercy on you both. I know what I want to say. I am shocked. A young man. May God give patience to your family. My heart is with you. May God have mercy on you.”
The Lebanese singer then uncovered the reason behind the Lebanese hairdresser’s death saying a “dreaded cancer, and then a heart attack” were the reasons behind Tony Sawaya’s death.
Celebrities shocked by the death of Tony Sawaya
Lebanese singer Maya Diab, who also collaborated with Tony Sawaya, expressed her sadness and shock after hearing the news of his death.
She took to her Instagram account and wrote: “No, I did not know that this was the last picture of us… I was happy with your heart and I was afraid for you.” She added: “I told you, you lost so much weight and please take care of yourself, but you didn’t and you left us.”
Syrian singer Assala also posted a picture with the deceased Tony Sawaya and wrote an emotional post mourning his death.
Lebanese TV presenter Neshan also wrote a comment to Assala mourning the death of Sawaya. He wrote: “Shocking… May his soul rest in peace… He was so nice and polite… To God we remain.”
