Real life Spy x Family cruise incoming!
Episodes five and six of the second season of Spy x Family had the Forger family entangled in a plot revolving around a cruise ship.
In celebration of the anime and manga, cruise and shipping company Tokai Kisen announced in November that their upcoming cruise ship Salvia Maru will offer fans of the anime, Spy x Family decorations from Saturday, Nov. 25, 2023, to Sunday, Feb. 25, 2024.
Real life Spy x Family Cruise is incoming!
The cruise itself was launched in 2020 by Tokai Kisen, it departs from Yokohama at 6:10 pm and arrives at Tokyo Takeshiba at 7:45 pm making it an hour and a 45-minute long journey.
According to Anime News Network, the cruise takes its passengers to multiple attractions including Tokyo Bay, past the Tokyo Aqua Line, and under the Rainbow Bridge. Passengers will be able to enjoy Spy x Family decorations and purchase special merchandise on board in collaboration with Tokai Kisen.
How to buy tickets for the Spy x Family cruise ship?
Tickets can be purchased online or if you reside in Japan from 7-Eleven and LAWSON which are Japanese convenience stores that are known to have released exclusive anime merchandise themselves in the past.
The tickets will go for 2,000 Yen (about $13) for adults and 1,500 yen ($10) for children which might be quite steep for some since it’s only an hour’s journey but the cruise does offer a tour included with the payment.
Unfortunately, people who purchased the tickets from 7-Eleven and LAWSON don’t get to replace their tickets with novelty ones making the price even steeper.
Tokai Kisen published a video on its official YouTube channel showcasing the ship:
