Ramadan 2026: Amal Arafa, Shoukran Mortaja together in ‘Elet Al-Malek’

An early launch for the series “Elet Al-Malek” – [The King’s Family] – brings together Amal Arafa and Shoukran Mortaja in a Syrian drama for Ramadan 2026.
The series is produced by Qabnoud Media and Afamia and directed by Egyptian Mohamed Abdel Aziz. “Elet Al-Malek” also brings together some of the most prominent stars of Syrian drama, including Jamal Soleiman, Mohammed Al-Ahmad and Lojain Ismail.
In detail, the work, written by the trio Shadi Kiwan, Maan Saqbani, and Mayada Ibrahim, is based on a contemporary social drama plot that begins with the phenomenon of “forced collecting money” imposed by some influential people on merchants in Damascus.
The story then branches out into the reality of slums and the intersections and societal changes they entail, affecting the lives of various groups.
The main plot of the Ramadan 2026 series revolves around a Damascene merchant who decides to sever ties with his poor family after becoming involved with a powerful woman in an attempt to achieve quick wealth. However, his ambitions later collide with a series of security pressures and sudden events that turn his life upside down, forcing him to face fateful decisions that reshape his personality and relationships.
