“Pretty”: Stevie Nicks Barbie shakes internet
American singer-songwriter and film producer Stevie Nicks Barbie doll has taken the internet by storm and divided fans.
Mattel revealed earlier a new Stevie Nicks Music Series Barbie, portraying the icon in her outfit from the cover of Fleetwood Mac’s 1977 album “Rumours.”
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, the American singer Stevie Nicks thanked American company Mattel for cooperating in upgrading her lookalike Barbie doll.
She said: “My Stevie @Barbie has been with me now for several months. When Mattel came to me asking if I would like to have a Barbie made in the “Rumours” cover style I was very overwhelmed.”

She maintained: “Of course I questioned “would she look like me? Would she have my spirit? Would she have my heart…” When I look at her, I see my 27-year-old self~ All the memories of walking out on a big stage in that black outfit and those gorgeous boots come rushing back~ and then I see myself now in her face.”
The American star also continued that the doll has been with her since 1975 describing that Stevie Nicks Barbie was present during the U.S. star’s battles. “I am her and she is me. She absolutely has my heart,” Stevie Nicks added.
Many various comments popped up on social media as fans were split over the Stevie Nicks Barbie and had different opinions about it.

Another added: “The Barbie is wonderful, Stevie. But it cannot compare to the real thing!”
Meanwhile, an X user commented that the Stevie Barbie doesn’t really look like the American star.
At the end, the star said: “Thank you Mattel for working with me to make Stevie Barbie so pretty and so soulful and so real; she means the world to me!”
