Parker Posey joins ‘The White Lotus’ Season 3 cast

Parker Posey, the acclaimed actress known for her roles in indie films and comedy mockumentaries, is the latest star to join the cast of HBO’s hit series ‘The White Lotus’.

The show, created by Mike White, follows the lives and dramas of different guests and staff at a luxury resort in each season.

Posey will be part of the third season, which will be set in Thailand, along with Leslie Bibb, Dom Hetrakul, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan and Tayme Thapthimthong. Natasha Rothwell, who played spa manager Belinda Lindsey in the first season, will also return.

The third season is expected to be longer, bigger and crazier than the previous ones, according to White, who said he was “super excited” about the content. Rothwell also teased that she “gasped out loud” while reading the scripts, and that fans should “buckle up” for the journey.

‘The White Lotus’ has been a critical and commercial success, winning two SAG Awards and an Emmy for outstanding limited series. The show has been praised for its sharp satire, social commentary and dark humor, as well as its stellar performances and cinematography.

The production for the third season is set to begin in Thailand next month, and the premiere date has not been announced yet. However, due to the combined writers’ and actors’ strikes, the show might not air until 2025, according to HBO and Max chairman/CEO Casey Bloys.
