Palestinian man waving white flag in Gaza ‘safe zone’ is shot dead by Israel (Video)
Ramzi Abu Sahloul, a 51-year-old merchant specializing in children’s clothing, met a horrifying fate as he was shot and killed with his hands raised in the air. The incident occurred just moments after he had engaged in a conversation with a British journalist.
According to reports from ITV News, Abu Sahloul, a 51-year-old merchant of children’s clothes, was fatally shot shortly after speaking to a British journalist on Tuesday.
Abu Sahloul, along with a group of five men, was attempting to appear non-threatening by waving a large white flag while trying to reach his mother and brother in a house near a combat zone.
The group’s intention was to evacuate the area, as instructed by the Israelis, but they were allegedly prevented from rescuing Abu Sahloul’s brother.
Since Israel launched its latest brutal aggression on Gaza, at least 25,295 Palestinians have been killed and nearly 63,000 have been injured, with injuries varying between minor and extreme.
According to the United Nations, the Israeli offensive has left 85% of Gaza’s population internally displaced amid extreme shortages of food, clean water, and medicine, while 60% of the enclave’s infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed.
