Most anticipated games of October 2023
With the year coming to an end, there are still a number of amazing games coming this October from a new Mario platformer by the one and only, Nintendo to the comeback of the old Assassin’s Creed gameplay formula!
September had a lot to offer with the release of CD Projekt Red’s Phantom Liberty expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 and the surprising success of Neowiz’s Lies of P, considering it’s their first game since their MMORPG, Bless Online which didn’t do too well.
Here are 6 of the most anticipated games of October 2023
1) Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 (Oct. 20, 2023) – Insomniac Games
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is probably one of PS5’s most anticipated games this year since its predecessors were a huge success.
Their stunning graphics, incredible combat, and the addition of the best swinging mechanics in a videogame gave fans of the friendly neighborhood hero of New York City the best Spider-Man games to this date.
Both Miles and Peter are making a comeback as playable characters in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 with the addition of upgraded gameplay mechanics, a new wingsuit, and more villains!
Insomniac has taken full advantage of the PS5’s SSD by making switching between the Spider-Men as smooth as butter.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will hit PS5 consoles on Oct. 20, 2023.

2) Assassin’s Creed: Mirage (Oct. 5, 2023) – Ubisoft
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is nearly within our reach!
Ubisoft is finally going back to Assassin’s Creed’s original roots and fans cannot be any more excited for Mirage.
The game will be set in Baghdad and will feature full Arabic dubbed dialogue making it one of the first games to do so.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage comes out on PS4/5, Xbox One, Series X/S, PC, and IOS on Oct. 5, 2023.

3) Alan Wake ll (Oct. 27, 2023)- Remedy Entertainment
Alan Wake receives a sequel that reminds us of Capcom’s recent Resident Evil games including 4 and 2 Remake.
Alan Wake ll will be Remedey’s first take on the survival horror genre but from recent gameplay and story trailers, it looks like they have nailed every element of it. Its dark, scary, and gritty atmosphere sent chills down our spines!
Alan Wake ll comes out on PS5, Xbox Series X/ S, and PC.

4) Super Mario Bros. Wonder (Oct. 20, 2023) – Nintendo
Nintendo is giving Super Mario fans a refreshing take on the iconic 2D platformer with Wonder.
Play up to four consecutive players including a whopping roaster of 12 playable characters including Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Yoshi, Toad, and more!
Super Mario Bros. Wonder will give players new power-ups including the all-new elephant power-up which happens to be our favorite among many other power-ups.
the elephant power-up will allow players to force their way through the map’s terrain and enemies using Mario’s trusty elephant nose and weight.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder will hit Nintendo Switch consoles on Oct. 20, 2023.

5) The Lords of the Fallen (Oct. 13, 2023) – HEXWORKS
A promising souls-like game that will hopefully follow Neowiz’s success with Lies of P!
The Lords of the Fallen is a direct successor to its previous videogame that goes by the same name. It will feature RPG and souls-like gameplay elements and will be set in a dark and gritty fantasy world.
The game has been developed using Unreal Engine 5 and it looks absolutely stunning!
The Lords of the Fallen will hit PS4/ 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/ S, and PC on Oct. 13, 2023.

6) Ghostrunner 2 (Oct. 26, 2023) – One More Level
A sequel to one of the best Cyberpunk games on the market with a new epic synth-wave soundtrack!
Ghostrunner 2 is a hardcore FPS slasher set in a cyberpunk world that tells the story of a cyborg ninja who is trying to save humanity from a vicious AI organization.
Take in mind that this game is not for the faint of heart since one bullet could kill you but its fast-paced manner tends to add to the fun factor.
The good news is that there is a playable demo available for the game right now!
