Mohamed Ramadan under fire after attending Lara Trump invitation

Egyptian star Mohamed Ramadan recently sparked outrage among his fans after attending Mrs. Lara Trump’s invitation to represent Arab-African music.

He took to his official socials and wrote, “Glad to be invited by Mrs. Lara Trump and for her appreciation of my African continent, this is also an appreciation for Arab-African music. Something powerful is coming inshallah.”

After posting the pictures in question, Ramadan was subjected to political backlash from Egyptian and Arab fans due to the Trump family’s ties with Israel and the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023, which resulted in the killing of more than 60,000 Palestinians.

Many stated that the star shouldn’t have accepted the invitation or called for an end to the Gaza war during his visit. A fan wrote, “Support Palestine instead of supporting people who have no heart and mercy. Allah suffices me, and He is the best disposer of affairs.”

“Shame on you! Is this the same Trump family who is allowing the ongoing genocide in Gaza?”

On the contrary, several of Mohamed Ramadan’s fans supported the artist, further showering him with positive comments on Insatgram and X (formerly known as Twitter) for reaching this milestone.

Mohamed Ramadan didn’t reveal what’s upcoming, leaving fans curious about his future endeavors. However, according to Sky News Arabia, Ramadan is currently in the US to reportedly film music videos for his upcoming songs.
