Lindsay Lohan and Mean Girls stars reunite for Walmart Black Friday ad

In a delightful blast from the past, Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Seyfried, Lacey Chabert, Daniel Franzese, and Rajiv Surendra, the beloved cast of the iconic 2004 film “Mean Girls,” have reunited for a Walmart Black Friday commercial. 

The ad dropped on Wednesday, bringing back fond memories of the North Shore High School crew.

Cady Heron, played by Lindsay Lohan, has traded in her high school woes for a role as a guidance counselor. Amanda Seyfried, known for her portrayal of Karen Smith, has taken on the new title of a weather reporter. Meanwhile, Lacey Chabert’s character, Gretchen Wieners, has transitioned into the world of stage motherhood.

The commercial cleverly incorporates the film’s signature catchphrase, with Lohan’s character remarking, “Some things never change. On Wednesdays we wear pink, but now we shop Walmart Black Friday deals.” This witty nod announces the early arrival of holiday discounts, much to the delight of fans.

The ad brings to life some of the most memorable scenes from the Tina Fey-scripted original, including the winter talent show at North Shore High School and the unforgettable stage performance. Notably, rapper, singer, and producer Missy Elliott makes a special appearance, taking on the role of a teacher.

Lindsay Lohan, who has long expressed interest in a potential “Mean Girls” sequel, expressed her joy at reuniting with her former castmates this week, saying, “It was so nice being back together after all these years. It was great catching up with everyone.”
